My reading routine: 1. Grab a book 2. Sit down 3. Read

Do you know the worst thing about reading? Keeping the thing open without breaking the spine

i tried to read in the bathtub once... didn't end up as planned... My book fell into the water. Bye, bye Red Queen...

same! I can only read in a quiet place and I like to wear comfortable clothes while reading too! I love to read on my sofa or bed :)

I read before bed mostly too. I've also started reading at work between appointments. I've recently discovered that snacking helps me from falling asleep too soon when I'm all cuddled up in bed while reading....so I try to have a little something ready to go if I'm wanting to stay up later to read!

Your Chai Tea coffee concoction is fantastic, and Goldfish are the greatest snack. I like to have classic music on when I read. It clears the room easily for me, and blocks out surrounding noise. It gives my brain some undistracting background noise. I am such a bad tub reader, it is not a skill of mine to kudos to you!

Ooh, this was so interesting! I actually have two opposite reading 'routines' one is quite like yours- snuggled up in bed, with a cup of tea at night in pyjamas with no sounds whatsoever. Yet when I use the bus (pretty much everyday) the service into town and back home can either go the long way round or the shorter way round, so I always get the longer route and I have music playing in my earphones whilst I read ( I get quite a lot of reading done on it). I also like to read in the bath too, especially in autumn and winter, I have candles, relaxing music, bubbles, sometimes wine, it's great!

Because I'm from Australia, when you said I like to snack on goldfish I was like......um what type of video is this?😂😂😂

Ugh this made me so motivated to read! I know what you mean about the rain! It's so cozy and comfy, and I absolutely read so much when I make a routine out of it!
