I was a kid when this episode aired. I was being abused at home at the time and this was a major factor in my decision to never stop talking about it. I can't tell you how many people have approached me online and in real life to thank me for being open and vulnerable because my story gave them the courage to tell theirs, or even just made them feel validated in being traumatized by what happened to them. it's ALWAYS worth it to say something, especially when you don't know who might hear it that desperately needs to
  • Think this was before Amanda had her breakthrough role as Karen in Mean Girls. WOW, must say she really proved herself to be a capable actress with range here!!! EDIT: On another note gotta admire how even though they don't share blood, how much a stepfather cares for their child and how that child calls them a familial title due to the strength of that bond.

I always loved that little twist at the end, something not too shocking but just enough of a surprise to be effective!

I had no idea she's such a good cryer...this is a good quality to have as a actor...she just pulls you in😢😢😢 she needs to play more dramatic roles

Sexual assault by someone in the military, or in the military is a huge crisis, I believe it’s a big reason many people with including young girls are choosing not to join. As long as the military establishment, refuses to deal with that many will not join the military.

I love that lil part at the end, it’s so symbolic and said a million words without having to say it.

Detective Benson lied about the Social Service Law, it’s your right to not talk to the police. Even if you’re innocent or a victim you don’t have to talk to them or cooperate with them. Also unless they have a warrant they can’t force you to go to the hospital.

It’s so sad she didn’t win all because she lied.. lying is wrong but that doesn’t mean she shouldn’t be listened to.

This girl went to Grèce and sang some ABBA songs after this court case
  • If she was shown pictures of six guys in a photo lineup, shouldn't five of them not be suspects? And the only way she could identify two real suspects in separate lineups would be if she were telling the truth?
