Many of the millions left without power after Hurricane Beryl crashed into Texas, killing several people and unleashing flooding, sweltered and fretted Tuesday as the storm deprived them of air conditioning, food and water in dangerous heat.

A heat advisory took effect through Wednesday in the Houston area and beyond, with temperatures expected to soar into the 90s (above 32.2 Celsius) and humidity that could make it feel as hot as 105 degrees (40.5 Celcius).

It's amazing that you can see the unimaginable flood damage so vividly. I would like to offer words of encouragement to the people of Texas and encourage them to stay strong. I hope this video catches people's attention and helps more people. This video makes you feel the fear of disaster once again. I pray that the damage will be repaired as soon as possible. Make safety your top priority until the end. I hope everyone stays safe.:face-purple-wide-eyes:

0:22 hovering over Milam Street at Franklin Street, pointing at University of Houston - Downtown. The bridge to the right of the UH is Main Street, over Buffalo Bayou. The solid red brick building past the bridge is the Harris County Jail.

  • I see no problem. Flood in summer is normal plus Texas has big trucks. Now I drink my coffee.
