As many of these commenters express, I TOO prefer natural wood. However, different customers, different pieces, different desires, sometimes paint is the right choice. And You hit it out of the park on this one!!!! GREAT results! Great video (content, filming, editing) and the casting and lead star! Home Run #2 ! š Seriously, Good Job all the way way around ! š

Love this little table. Too bad your customer wanted it painted but I understand some people want different. Iāve been watching lots of your videos and thereās something about youā¦be it your talent, knowledge, patienceā¦I donāt know but it just makes you such a gorgeous woman! And this comes from a 60+ married mom of 6! I appreciate you as a role model for young women going into what was considered a manās job in my generation. A son and a daughter have now started refinishing pieces for their homes and Iāve started teaching my 10 yr old grandson. My granny taught me at around that age too. Thank you again for all that you do!!!

I really appreciate the fact you seal the wood before painting so it can be returned to its original beauty. Turned out beautiful for a painted piece

Great instructional video. I used to help my dad in the garage when he had little projects to complete. Later after he was gone I found him keeping me company when I was in my own shop woodworking. I have tried to share this with kids in my neighborhood. It is a good thing to be able to make something from scratch or rescue a piece that has been mistreated over the years. Thank you for what you do.

There's fixing furniture. Then, there's repairing furniture. And then, there's craftsmanship. You, young lady, are are a craftsman. You put thought into what you do, and do a superlative job while thinking of those who may come behind you. Thank you for your videos - I love them!

you did a beautiful job on this table Trena. Love the way you explain everything. Thanks again!

You are such a patient person. Every video seems so daunting when you start and then you break it down in small manageable pieces and tackle each one. I feel like redoing every piece I've done in the past. Great entertainment!

While it broke my heart to see that beautiful wood covered in paint, the finish is absolutely flawless. Was surprised to see that the drawer was not dovetailed.

I'm so glad I found your channel, you are a wealth of knowledge and very confident with your skills. I've been a professional woodworker for 50 years and only watch people that can demonstrate skills and knowledge in the craft. Your father did a great job and you should be very proud of yourself.

Your work is truly amazing!! Iāve learned so much from watching your posts. I enjoy working with wood and Iām soon going to start refinishing an old birch dining room table and chairs, Iām just a novice trying to do my best to preserve the beauty of old wood. Thanks for your professionalism!!!

Makes me sad to think you are having to paint it blackā¦.(addition: finished watching and it turned out amazingā¦.I still like nice wood not to be painted, but I can also appreciate amazing work, just stunning)

I appreciate that you put a sealer coat on before painting. As one who has stripped coats of paint from an antique only to find that the paint is in the grain permanently I wish everyone did that.
-
Love your videos. Not a fan of painted furniture but your projects always look great.

Nice job. Beautiful finish!

I have watched several woodworkers and guitar makers that have struggled finding a grain filler that doesnāt require a ridiculous number of applications. You nailed the finish on this.
