Screen protector & titanium nibs:
While I've been using my device with a titanium pen tip without a screen protector and haven't run into any issues, if you're worried about screen wear or scratches, opting for a screen protector could offer added safety. Regular inspection of your screen's health as a preventive step is advisable as a safeguard in any case.

Just a quick follow-up on the concerns someone raised in the comments about using a titanium nib potentially causing problems: My Scribe's screen has stayed in top condition since recording the video, even with regular use of the titanium tip. Still, I’d recommend to regularly check your screen for signs of wear just as a precaution. Adding a screen protector could also offer a layer of safety. Personally, I’ll continue to use the titanium nib without additional protection, but it's really about what you're comfortable with. Regular inspection of your screen to maintain its condition is generally a smart habit – with or without a screen protector. 🖖

Another pen tip: if you are taking notes, you can lay then pen down on left bezel (the wide bezel) and it will turn the kindle off. When you pick up the pen it will turn back on and you can continue writing.

Been using a Scribe for over a year now and still learned a thing or two about my device. The screen shot and image tracing were both new to me and will be useful. Thanks.

I have had my Scribe for about a month now and while reading on it has been wonderful, the note taking functions remain more difficult for me to understand and use. This video will be a great help! Thank you so much. I really enjoy your content. 😊
  • @gebswife

  • @BBYROO5155

  • @patcarone7652
Fantastic tips! Amazon should include a link to this video in their kindle scribe description page. Really helped speed up the learning curve with the new scribe. Thank you!
  • I also want to compliment you on the great video. Is it possible to get a transcription? it is easier for me to follow it in writing than verbally alone.
  • @conankudo2744
Hey there, does anyone know if they're planning to implement shared screen function as on the remakable 2? It's the huge drawback I'm currently experimenting... I want to share my screen during team meetups so that's the feature on the top of my wishlist !
  • @gracemfrench
Do you know if the vocabulary feature works if, say, your native language is English, but you're reading books in French for the purpose of language learning?
