Such a power move by Roy. Imagine being so good at what you do you can just decide you dont want to play for a certain team anymore and then go win 2 stanley cups with someone else 😂

I remember that game with Roy. He wasn’t being a diva. They really did hang him out to dry, leaving him in net until nine goals were scored on him. The suits were on a real power trip back then. Glad Roy got the last laugh.

"Patrick Roy said he would never play for Montreal again" My Mind: And he didn't
  • I love how Binnigton just went around hitting everyone he could
  • The part where he told off his coach and won 2 cups with his next teams was sick. I don’t watch hockey but I admire the passion the players, fans and coaches have for it.

It’s tough being a goalie. I played 3 years and 7 as Center. The years as goalie definitely put an insane amount of stress on my mental compared to just trying to score goals. As the goalie you are that final hope to save your team, so if you get pulled it has to hurt.

I love how everyone EVERYONE Looked at Carey while he was staring down his coach... dude didn't even say a word and there's not a single soul that wasn't afraid of getting in his way at that exact moment
  • This should have been called “St. Luis Blues goalies have a temper tantrum.”

Why did I know this was coming after what happened with binnington two days ago

At 7 years old I was introduced to hockey and watched Ron hextall single handily almost take down the mighty Edmonton oilers and was hooked from there. Modelled my game after him which helped me win 3 championships in roller hockey and be selected to rep the US on 2 different occasions. Met him a few times and at a phantoms game as I walked past the press box I heard "hey Jason". Now in my 40s it's still a moment I remember vividly

I remember when we got Roy in Colorado. I still consider him the greatest net minder of all time. Now I live in Vegas and I'm a Knights fan, and we have Fleury, I've been spoiled.

The fact that St Louis has so many guys on this video makes me respect the hell out of their cup that much more lmao
  • @kyletan979
This should be called “goalies breaking their sticks”
  • @wdsa7129
In Roy’s case, he wasn’t mad that he was pulled, he was mad that he wasn’t pulled sooner
  • @Rknowles813
That Price stare down and reaction from the sharks player was great 4:38

Respect to Roy! I've done the same thing. First team I was on for a few years and we never got anywhere in our rec league. Had one horrible game with no defensive help. Pulled myself after giving up 6 goals said same thing im not playing for this team ever again and left.

Going by all of the examples in this video, I’ve come to the conclusion that St. Louis has a real goalie anger problem.
