Vera's face whenever 'Lusty Jack' appears😂😂😂 and her telling folk about him kicking her out of bed in the middle of the night saying "Get back to the village!" hilarious!🤣🤣🤣

Right! That's it. Here I come Stan and Hilda, Eddie, Bet, Mrs. Walker, Ena, Elsie and Len. Thank You EveHenleySpread. I've never made it this far, in re-run. Last time, I quit when the Battersbys showed up.
  • Thank you Eve! These months of entertainment have been greatly appreciated, as today doesn’t hold a candle…bracing for the beginning of the end
  • The only laugh these days is from Jack Duckworth. He is so funny. Gets a bit stale though. Zoe and Samantha doing my head in.

Could Wishy-washy (a.k.a. Ashley) get any more limp and pathetic over the unbearable Zoe? By this stage (first two hours of these episodes) it almost seems that if she burned his house down and put arsenic in his tea, he'd still be making excuses for her with his last breath!

Despite being a Corrie addict, and endlessly grateful to Eve for having this wonderful channel (which I watch everyday), I cannot find a single redeeming feature in any episode for the whole month of May 1998. It just seems that after the high of Deirdre's trial and fight for freedom, everything then goes downhill faster than Jim MacDonald off scaffolding. The Des-Samantha saga - "I'm pregnant, no I'm not, yes I am but I'm getting rid of it, no I'm not getting rid of it, maybe I was lying - but was that about the pregnancy or the termination, you have to guess" nearly made me scream. Why on earth didn't Des say, "ok, let's wait a few months, see what turns up, get a DNA test, and make plans from there on." Natalie could see Samantha was just playing games with Des to cause trouble between them and split them up. Des, for all his experience with women, was seemingly blind to it! And as for dopey Nick Tilsley's obsession with Darren Whateley, putting his wife in serious danger - all because he wanted to know 'why'. WHY!! Yet when he's told responds with, "I don't believe you!" Aargh!

I see R Nicky got his brains from R Brian 🤦🏾‍♀️🤣🤡
  • Thank you for uploading the May 1998 episodes of Coronation Street Eve Henley Spread.

I don't understand why the writers reduced Ashley to virtually a comedy figure. An adult man with a gormless expression and ridiculous voice who speaks like a child, referring to a hospital as 'ospikal'. He's unbearable.

If we thought this season was awful, we had no idea the tripe that was to come. Corrie is now for the 14 & under crowd. Gone are all the good writers & actors. I cancelled my subscription to Britbox because I couldn't take one more stupid line.

Kudos, Steve. What a brilliant idea to throw a welcome home party for someone like Jim - the guy who was perpetually angry BEFORE he was injured, not to mention an opportunity for this newly disabled raging alcoholic to watch his guests drink alcohol while he cannot. It's this kind of ridiculous storyline that beggars belief.

So sad to see Derek and Mavis' house being taken over by drab characters such as Nick, Zoe and Leanne. Another sign of the show deteriorating.

Nick Tillsley sending a forged letter , with LeAnn,s photograph , to a prisoner was unforgivable and should be a case for divorce

I think Nathalie (Denice Welch) does look older than 29. I'd have thought she was born about 1960.
  • @multimill
Jim: "wheeeeeze, gasp, splutter" Liz and Steve:"Kevin??" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
