  • He hasn't lost edge, he understands performance. Gaga is not exactly my cup of tea but she does what she does in her own way, she's original and knows how to entertain.

I love Lydon. He's wonderful. Honest, interesting, smart.

Gaga is the first person I have ever heard Lydon compliment in any interview.

I wish Lydon was my grandpa. Seems like a really chill and chipper guy.

As a young man he was so aware of how the world works, and was so raw and honest. He is one of the great legends..
  • @JakobVirgil
Lady Gaga is one of the most cutting-edge artists of the 1970's

If Pistols fans think this is a shock, they should know Steve Jones recently admitted to being a Foreigner, Boston & Journey fan!

I actually believe him when he says he likes Lady Gaga's album The Fame, but this interview must be a while ago. Now he might not like her.

Lydon is naturally intelligent. He's very dry humoured. He's a national treasure now. He was lead singer a lyricist in 1 of the greatest band's ever, The Sex Pistols. They only made 1 album, but it's a genuine classic. Never Mind The Bollocks Here's The Sex Pistols is in the all time top 20 albums ever. That's in company with the likes of The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Kinks, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Simon and Garfunkel, Velvet Underground, Syd Barrett's Pink Floyd Piper At The Gates Of Dawn. I've read Lydon's book, No Irish, No Blacks, No Dogs. It's so honest and hilarious in parts, but he had a really tough and poor upbringing. I thought we were poor, which we were, but Lydon's family were REALLY Poor. As someone once said He couldn't tell a lie to save his life. He's so honest. About himself. He tells you what he thinks if you ask him he answers truthfully, even if it's about himself and it's embarrassing. So intelligent, interesting and honest. He will be sorely missed when he does finally pass on. Thank You John, for changing England in the late '70s. A unique soul.

I love it how legends in music ( both Eastern or Western) praise Gaga. She definitely IS very special and has so many admirers due to her exciting routines and talent.
