Mobility Scooters like the ones shown in this video can be used on the sand but are still prone to getting stuck. Do not travel alone with a mobility scooter to the beach because its very possible that you can get stuck on soft spots. The scooters in this video are considered the best choice for going to the beach, but are still not suitable for going on all types of sand. If the sand is soft and loose, you still are at risk for getting stuck. The only machines that are truly made for going on the sand are gas powered ATV's like the ones the life guards use.
