TH7 3 stars a TH8 and mocks with 3 Hog CC and 1.5 rage spell wasted

Perfectly calculated 3 lvl 4 hogs can take out an AD. Why waste another clanmates hog when you've already done the calculation? Then rage spells can be placed in areas with no dragons, as a mock to the enemy, when dragon placement alone is so good and enough as to crush the base.
