In this clip, Cassidy discussed being a ghostwriter and working with several artists whom he declined to reveal. He explained why he doesn’t believe rappers who use ghostwriters can be considered one of the greatest rappers, taking Drake as a prime example. Cassidy also outlined why it’s difficult to compare artists across eras the same way it is to compare athletes across eras in sport.

  • A Ghostwriter gets paid a set fee with no album credits as per their agreement. Just writers or collab gets credit on the album and royalties

    Cass is a great writer, no doubt. Studious wordsmith, just feel like he didn't ascend to higher levels because he wasn't meaningful enough, bars are great but you gotta have a message to really transcend pure hiphop battling or street bravado etc
