I've barely touched the surface of Elder Scrolls Christian mods as we've found one for Oblivion! Will I finally find salvation after all these years? Will this mod terrify me from ever going to mass again? Will the people of Slough ever forgive me? Jesus would.

What people don’t get, is that angels actually need to use the Oblivion character creator when they take physical form. That’s why they’re described as being so vividly inhuman in the Bible.

Imagine being converted by an Oblivion mod.

"I HAVE NO GREETING" These words have changed my life.

This just makes me wish there was more strange Christian mods that delved into Church history. I want a Christmas mod where you get transported to the Council of Nicaea and become Santa Claus by beating the ever living tar out of heretics.

I feel like someone could make a mod retelling the old testament and it would actually be really good.
  • Archangel standing there watching you try to equip the evil armor with a blank stare, says about everything that needs to be said about this video. We all know what's going through his head.

For the author who got a copy of Oblivion from a dumpster…I got my copy of GTA:5 out of the trash of a Baptist church (my mother is contracted to clean the church and found it in the trash). It works great.
  • I love when people are so passionate about their faith that they MUST make an Elder Scrolls mod for it. I'm not even joking. I think it's very sweet.

"A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush" "tell that to my ex" I just can't

John Bunyan apparently wrote Pilgrim’s Progress while in prison or after serving in prison, so the opening scene is a giant Pilgrim’s Progress reference. You lost the NPC because Pliant gave up at the first difficulty in the book. The caged man represents a reprobate, someone who has hardened his heart so that he cannot repent of sin, yet he feels despair and loss as a former professor of Christ. Bunyan was a Calvinist and his theology reflects in that character. Apollyon is the Son of the Devil. That part didn’t make sense because I thought Christian had lost his burden of sin by that point of the book and it looked like you still had yours. Maybe you missed a section where you actually get saved when you skipped that intended path? In the book the sin burden is a great heavy sack permanently attached to Christian’s back, so the game is symbolically representing it as the curse your character has. Ironic that you skipped since there’s a chapter of the book where two idiots tried to climb the wall and skip the journey, only to be rejected at the gates of heaven.
  • love that, in oblivion, pain supplies regularly defy the rules of reality. paint brushes float in midair, paintbrush jars are infinite motion machines when you drop them, and there’s even that entire quest line about the magic paintbrush that the thief stole

This mod is perfect because playing Oblivion makes me want to seek God.

It's weird seeing an actual beard in oblivion....besides Sheogorath.

The mod author's mother is/was a teacher and she showed us one of her son's videos lol. I believe it was the "THE WALRUS & THE CARPENTER"

Micky: “apparently there was going to be a third Bruce Almighty movie.” Me: “there was a second one?

i dunno why but there's something strangely hilarious about the phrase: "The presence of Angels may lag your game."
