BOBBY'S IN THAT GYM WITH A PERSONAL TRAINER. GETTING FIT AND SLIM. MOVING TOWARDS BETTER HEALTH AND STAMINA

I have to tell this true story about Bobby Brown. I use work with Soul Train back in the early 90's, and one year I took my disabled sister who has cerebral palsy to the Soul Train Awards for her 40th birthday. So I'm working and have all the credentials (backstage passes etc.), and after the Award Show and at the After Party, celebrities were upstairs. So I invited a few relatives and was downstairs with my disabled sister saying hello to the relatives, and from downstairs, my sister sees Bobby Brown upstairs in the VIP, and starts pulling on me and pointing. I tell her just wait a minute, so we go to take the elevator up and its so funny that my disabled sister loves flashing her VIP Badge and all, so we get upstairs and I see a Producer I know who is sitting with Bobby and Whitney, and the producer comes over to me as I'm coming up the stairs from the elevator, and says "hey there". I introduce him to my sister who by this time is frantic to get to Bobby Brown, and I tell him my sister is going crazy over Bobby, so he ask me if I know Bobby and Whiteney, and I say not really but I have met Whitney before. Don Corneilus had introduced me, but I doubt she remembers me. Well, he says well come on, they are good friends of mine. So we proceed to walk over and my sister gets over animated over Bobby and the producer tells her my sister is a big fan. Bobby can look at her and tell she is disabled (mentally and physically), and he jumps up and reaches his arms out for her and says well hello Betsy (we told him her name). So he hugs her and she just goes crazy. Bobby then kisses her on the jaw and starts to say "how are you doing" and just showing her all sorts of attention. He then says would you like something to drink, while still having his arm around her, and he walks her to the bar while hugging her and gets her a soda. He brought her back to the table and asked if she wanted an autograph and she went crazy, so he wrote something on a napkin or something. She had absolutely no interest in Whitney or any other celebrity that was there. I couldn't believe she was so crazy about Bobby. Whitney, many years ago talked about what a gentleman Bobby was and how folks did not know that side of him and how he would take his jacket off and put it on the floor for her if it was raining. Well, I witnessed first hand how sweet he can be and what a gentleman he was. Just think, he took all that time with my sister out the goodness of his heart because he recognized she was disabled. When I tell you she would not shut up about that and stop guarding that autograph with her life. I knew (through the industry) that Bobby did not start Whitney on drugs all alone. All I got to say about the video above is "Go Bobby" in my high as a kite Whitney voice! Oh, I am such a Whitney fan so I mean no harm. Bobby also never bad mouthed Whitney to this day, but you better believe he could if he wanted to. He remained a gentleman to the end.
