You picked the best time to visit MN! Valleyfair, State Fair, Renaissance... and great weather!

You have made my grandsons day. His favorite truck is Zombie! We had to record the whole zombie section of this video and put it on repeat for him 😂😂. He’s 2 1/2 and has seen many of your videos! 🥰

Monster truck rides is an interesting idea. Looks like a lot of fun

Ohhh man, if I'd known you were in Minnesota, I would have loved to meet up with you! Hopefully you also went to The State Fair!
  • I grew up with the wild thing being in view of my house. My sister and I would take a walk, sit down, and watch as people took the drop off of the peak :D
  • Thank you Jacob! I was hoping you would make it to Valleyfair. I worked there in 1980 and 1981 (graduated in '82). Fond memories. The carousel was built in 1925 for the Excelsior amusement park, closed in 1973. Barely remember much from that, but I did ride it as a young child. So did my father with his dad. I only live about 15 minutes from Valleyfair....I should go back, maybe next summer for the memories. Sappy but true.

I grew up in the Twin Cities, and ValleyFair was the place to go with your class on the last day of school. The Corkscrew, High Roller and Wild Thing were great roller coasters. I used to love the ferris wheel and the carousel. Thanks for all the great memories and video footage!
  • Great video, Jacob. Grave Digger is one of the most popular monster trucks out there. Odds are most likely those monster trucks (not the ride trucks) are actual trucks that are retired from competition, but make great display trucks as they are. Grave Digger has its 40th anniversary this year, having debuted in 1982 with Dennis Anderson until he sold the operation to the U.S. Hot Rod Association, and now owned by Feld Entertainment.
  • I like how carpetbagger was scared in the monstertruck ride. The suspension on those things are insane, You have to cut those pretty sharp on order to tip over and at a much faster speed.
  • Jacob, you need to check out the MN Renaissance Festival or the MN State Fair while youre here!

I'm mainly a coaster lover but I always ride the river rapids rides when they're open (as long as its a hot day). They're a lot of fun, especially with a group.
  • I actually got to meet Dennis Anderson the grave digger monster truck driver in person years ago & got a picture with him & 2 days later saw him at the Jacksonville jaguars stadium for his 30th anniversary

Pink lemonade is lemonade colored pink. Sometimes there's strawberry flavor added, but it's usually just regular lemonade colored pink. And Woodstock is a single bird, the other birds are his friends.

Halloweekends at Cedar Point and the Haunt at Kings Island are both great Halloween-themed events.

You should hit up the MN State Fair and The Renaissance Festival while you're here
