I've upgraded my piano music visualizer once again! As usual, this project was a ridiculous challenge to render. Pushing my PC to the limit always leads to unexpected crashes.
Fun Facts:
- At the peak insanity this project was taking 18 minutes per frame to render
- 4k frames at 60 fps was ~300 GB of data that took over a week to render (due to crashes and restarts)
- I designed the path tracing accumulation sample count to be dynamically adjustable while recording (useful for adding more samples while the scene is dark for example)
- Nvidia Studio Drivers are more stable than the gaming drivers

I was not prepared for 2:36
-
2:35 I said it before and i will say it again The explosion is hilarious it goes from a somewhat tolerable amount of E to just E EVERYWHERE Im so glad we finally reached the camera
-
Me watching the notes increasing in number : "we're gonna need a bigger bar"
-
The path the notes take gets more complex from one video to the next

You should hide one singular F among the thousands of Es
-
starting to get to the point where nvidia owes you money for the entertaining stress testing advertisement
-
This isn't even Rush E anymore, its more like a Boss E, with the music being the background of a great boss fight
-
I was expecting an 'E' to hit and crack the camera, not an expulsion of 'E's 😂😂
-
The E finally building up and attacking the camera actually genuinely scared me i shut my eyes in pure fear for the e-pocalypse
-
I remember seeing a community post about this video that was like "this video is taking a while because it's destroying my computer and will take a very long time to render" and through the whole video I was like "I dunno this doesn't look that intense" But then I got to the end And it all made sense
-
Wow this actually sounds really pretty
-
I love how at one point it just becomes and tidal wave of E's
-
For Rush E, one E survived the sweepers. For Rush E 2, two Es survived. For Rush E 3, a lot more than three Es survived.
-
2:15 Just seeing this was just terrifying
-
at first, i thought 6 E's remained at the end. and then i saw the cube.
-
This is what having a nightmare is like when it's about the letter E.
-
2:50 "E"xplotion 2.0
-
2:41 everything blew up
