Reagan’s greatest one liner was during a speech shortly after the assasination attempt when a balloon exploded. Everyone in the crowd gasped in horror and without missing a beat Reagan says, “missed me”

In the operating room, Reagan removed his oxygen mask to joke, "I hope you are all Republicans." The doctors and nurses laughed, and Dr Giordano Joseph (head of the trauma team) a liberal Democrat, replied, "Today, Mr. President, we are all Republicans." Just wow. Humanity above all.

Whether you're Republican or Democrat or Independent it was incredibly hard not to love and laugh at Ronnie's jokes and humor, it always lightened the mood, you're still missed to this day sir!
