As an archaeology student who loves ASMR. This is how I choose to memorise hieroglyphs for my dissertation lol
  • the fact that we trust these ASMRists to not just scream in our ear randomly
  • @beagotm9318
I wonder if people would tease others for their messy hand writing during those times
  • @darkschweppes
“tethering ropes” riiiiight, that’s exactly what it is. Tethering ropes.
  • the beginning was golden lol just "HI." also can we just take a second to realize how dedicated this man is? give this man a grammy.

Little do we know he just cursed us for an hour and 40 minutes

being a scribe was an incredibly powerful position, and it took a LOT of education and practice. that being said, i wonder how quickly the scribes could bang out these hiroglyphs.
  • 41:32 This brings me back to my old school memories where our teachers was talking about about plants and he drew one that looks like that shape (technically it doesn't look like that but still), I couldn't help myself but smile to it. This part made me laugh.
  • This is literally the perfect example of natural ASMR it reminds me of listening to a history lecture or an antique show on TV late at night
  • @xyrphotic
him: draws hieroglyph for “f” me: caterpillar :) him: and here we have the horned viper me: ah yes how silly of me
  • @bananaxx9171
The small sound when the wood leaves the wax after every carve is so good!
  • Hieroglyphics were only used in temples' walls or pyramids' walls to show the stories of whatever they wrote about and there are more writing types they used other than hieroglyphics , just wanted to let y'all know <3
  • @asiiaalii3229
As an Egyptian myself am amazed and impressed by the hard work you out on that vid.❤🤝🏼🤝🏼🤝🏼🤝🏼
  • @Tensh11
So we’re not gonna talk about how beautiful and well done he drew the hieroglyphs??
  • That is literally the most creative way I've seen someone show patreon supporters, great job!
  • @jadesouttakes
I almost never get tingles from people just talking, but your voice is so incredibly tingly, put me right to sleep.😴
  • @Sleepy_Zs
