When did Saruman the wise abandoned reason for madness?
  • Well... in hindsight, it was Saruman's end-goal to have all the colors of the other Istari... God I love those books.

LOL That's a reference only readers of the book will get!
  • For I am Saruman the Wise, Saruman the Ringmaker, Saruman of many colours!-I looked then and saw that his robes, which had seemed white, were not so, but were woven of all colours, and if he moved they shimmered and changed hue so that the eye was bewildered.-The Fellowship of the Ring

Saruman of the 60's... I could totally see him driving around in a Volkswagen Bus...

Apparently Saruman likes to wear parts of Leia's slave outfit.

I always wondered why he became Saruman of many colors. More than that, I wondered why only Ralph Bakshi's movie mentioned it, while Peter Jackson's films ignored the rainbow robes entirely. Then again, some things are left in the books. Like Tom Bombadil. Or the ent Quicksilver.

"Sauron, come on, man. There's no need for any of this. We just want like, peace and love, dude."

I love how you used a sound bite from BBC's 1981 production of the Lord of the Rings for Gandalf's voice!

Wow, nice. Its always great to see a good old book reference.
  • @JCHStudios
When Gandalf says "I like white better" you used the line from the audio drama, right?
  • Haha awesome! Really like the fact that you're doing more Lord of the rings! Keep up the incredible work!
