Blues Guitar Lesson - Escape the Minor Pentatonic Routine using Triads instead

Published 2021-04-01
This is a guitar lesson on a 12bar blues in the Key of C, using the Major triads to play the changes!! If you like this lesson hit the Subscribe button to help me channel grow !! Have fun!!
The intro is an improvisation using the triads and visualising them on the fretboard to move freely without using only the minor pentatonic.

The lesson is divided into sections:

1st Section: Learning the C,F & G Major triads on Root position, 1st & 2nd inversions (the tip here is to know always on what string the root note is and from which ''chord'' or arpeggio comes from)

2nd Section: Now we play the I-IV-V (C-F-G) triads moving on the closest one

3rd Section: Now we learn a moveable lick on each triad on Root position,2nd & 3rd inversion

4th Section: In this section we play the movable licks but choosing the closest one to play the changes

5th and final Section: This is an improvisation incorporating the idea of using the triads and visualising them on the fretboard,so we move with more freedom and confidence on a 12 bar blues!
