    I just find it weird that they touted this update as "the biggest update ever" when the literal previous update completely eclipsed it in terms of impact

    Tbh, they need to force the devs to play super helldive and show us how to use each weapon in their "imaginary" glory including the base liberator to great effect on that difficulty before they start to nerf weapons.

    Fun fact, did you know that with the new changes, wire fences now stop the flames of the flamethrower. Luckily, the flames are still strong enough to beat bushes and air molecules.
  • Sadly, it seems Pilestedt was lying to us a few months ago about them changing their idiotic approach to balance to something more geared towards fun. They have gone right back to the approach of destroying whatever is good/popular because it's good/popular. It's quite frustrating honestly, and at this point I can only conclude these idiots will never learn.

  • The devs have been pretty consistent with showing they don’t care what the players feel is right. They said nerfs wasn’t in their future plans but that turned out to be another lie…

    they continue to make this game more and more difficult. At the same time they are nerfing the weapons to a point where everyone uses the same stuff, and then they complain about how everyone uses the same stuff.
  • anyone remember how early on, a minor complaint was "the devs are not telling us what we need to know in the patch notes" well it turns out they kept as many notes as they gave us...

    Shout out to Arrowhead for all their hard work towards assuring me that my decision to uninstall Helldivers 2 was a good one.
  • This update was incredibly lackluster at best. Sure, they added some new things, but the "greater" rewards for the mega outposts? Laughable. They've lost touch with what PLAYERS want.

    My guy, the game already dropped down to 40K players on average, on a good day. It is so obvious that it hurts. You are speaking for so many people. Keep at it. They had the goose that lays them golden eggs, verbatim. And they had to screw it up over a period of months while disregarding the cries of the community which turned into a witness or even worse, a lab rat that participated in this controlled demolition/culling/execution of a good IP.

    They only add "Realism" when it negatively affect the player. why cant my laser canon melt thru armor? It would seem pretty realistic since the devs care about that so much

    It's kinda funny that AH balance HD2 like it's a PvP game. Imagine if a game Warframe had the same balance philosophy as HD2. Saryn and all the incarnon weapons would be sent to dumpster tier.

    The thing that started happening to me is that I bring a supply back so I have ammo and now people not only waste supply beacons but also rely on me to give them ammo... That's okay if I have plenty, but gets annoying quickly. And Devs just feed into it by continuously reducing mag counts of all primary weapons
