If Eren can kill billions upon billions, his mother and father, then he shouldn't have a problem killing his own friends if he want to achieve his goal to free Paradis of any racism against them

The dina plot twist will always be dumb. Eren was already motivated to join the scouts before even his mother died, so eren saying that he did it to motivate his younger self is 🐵💩

In 133 or part 3 part 1 if you want to call it that, Eren stated that his friends are free to come to stop him and kill him whenever they like, but in the end, he stated that he didn't know if his friends would come to stop him. Peak consistency.

The anime enhanced Armin and Eren's manga conversation a lot, but the meaning and purpose is the same: expose Eren's true motivations and the real reasons behind his actions, allow Eren a final chance to lay himself bare, Condemn Eren's actions but take some of the burden of guilt off of him via the one person who's actually in a position to do so and bring closure to Eren and Armin's relationship. Isayama didn't change the dialogue because he thought the idea was bad; he changed it because he felt he didn't convey its meaning properly. Considering that, to this day, people still think that Armin agrees with global genocide due to being an unwilling beneficiary of it, he's probably right. Either way, the manga never intended to imply that Armin cosigned on genocide. He thanks Eren for his supposed good intentions in becoming a mass murderer but, in the same sentence, condemns it as a terrible mistake. He doesn't condone Eren's actions at all, but he can't stop Eren from making this mistake. It's going to happen regardless, so he vows to at least not let this be a completely meaningless slaughter. The main difference is that Armin is the age he was when he and Eren first met when he learns how far Eren will go. He responds in the way he would have at that age. In the anime, he's the age he is while currently fighting against Eren's genocide. He responds the way he would in present day and it feels more appropriate.

Don't forget that the "heroes" who stopped Eren committing omnicide that they can't allow or forgive proceed to take Eren's head so they could make a shrine for him instead of handing it over as proof they actually killed him and have a real chance or plan for peace.

I realized something. In the new dialogue of the anine, eren says that the 20% of the world that survived now is the same number of people as the paradisians. Dude, if we take the fact that map wise, paradis is an upside down madagascar, it's still tiny compared to that 20%. So, isayama doesn't suck only at romance, but mathematics too

It's a shame, and i don't even have to explain why, you already cleared up the air for me, well done 👏

6:17 "Why do peeople complain about Armin thanking Eren for being a mass murderer but then say that Eren is right to genocide the world to protect his people?" then the nigga say "someone please enlighten me. I might be missing something" YOU'RE MISING EVERYTHING 😂 I don't think I've ever heard anyone say that Eren has the right to kill everyone else. WE SAID Eren should've done it because it was consistent with his character and THAT'S WHAT HE WAS PLANING ON DOING IN THE FIRST FUCKIN' PLACE. I'm gonna say it right now: people did not give a fuck about this story. it was all hype. 70+% of fans who watched AOT did not actually pay attention. casual-type shit

Guess what's the excuse for the underdevelopment of certain relationships, EM included: Because of the tragedies of war
  • @Scrimparmy
Lmao when your plot falls apart just make your character braindead
  • When you realize that eren didn't actually stop the titan's curse, it just happened by luck becauze ymir had a purpose he wasn't aware of based on the actions of another character😂

You are so right about the "Because I'm an idiot" bit. The final chapter made him a psycho that did all this shit for no reason apparently, which is fucking retarded. So them adding that legit feels like them trying their hardest to cover up the bad writing by instead going "ah, it was just silly ol Eren being dumb again" And the worst part is that it worked. Watch MoistCriticals review of Season 4 Part 3 Special 1. He's praising the complexity of Eren's character and how you can see where he's coming from, carrying the hatred pushed onto the island back out against the world. Then watch MoistCritical's review of the ending, and suddenly he's praising Eren going like "He was always this psychotic violent retard and so he knew nothing else than to lash out when he was given power, because he's basically just a dumb child throwing a temper tantrum" That's literally not what he was praising his character for before then. Why does he just instantly buy this 180 and see no contradiction? I swear, people be calling AoT their favourite show of all time, and then don't even remember the previous episode/the opinion they had on the show 6 months prior.

30:22 I think it depends what people mean when they say Eren was a “chad.” The “no I don't want that” Marvel dialogue is terrible don't get me wrong but you'll be hard pressed to get me to say that it's the worst scene in this dumpster fire of an ending (that title goes to Eren killing his own mother for Bertholdt and Armin being chill about it).  I think Eren “not being a chad” is more of a symptom of the actual problem which is that by the end plot twist: he's not a character he's an abstract, a “slave to freedom”, a plot device mystery box whose mystery is that there is no mystery and whose motivations are either non existent or cartoonishly evil and just down right illogical. I figured what people saw in Eren to make them think he was a chad wasn't because he banged Historia (although I believed her pregnancy was relevant to it) or because he didn't cry but because of his interesting philosophy of being born into this world and fighting to attain the freedom he was born with a right to even against his own moral judgement. Now we have this shallow nobody who cries over a girl he's shown zero romantic affection for all while killing millions of people including his own loving mother because he just felt like it or something. It's funny how you bring up chapter 131 because while EDs often say this straw man of “you're just mad your edgy bad boy doesn't exist” yet when it comes to that chapter 131 the same chapter that many people Yeagerists say is gold in a sea of shit prove that they actually have the edgier interpretation.

8:29 I use to say that shit all the time it's like slapping a ice packet on a amputated arm and it's crazy cuz I was just in comments the other day saying that if u gonna thank eren that completely breaks the alliance even tho they are mass hypocritits but when u fall out give points they be like huh what are you talking about how we get here etc like bruh y'all glaze and give headcanons but the minute I bring a chapter and a good point now u don't know English
  • how abt instead of criticizing aot and fighting over it, just realize how good this anime is and remember. Just stop this controversy already. And no matter wht anyone says i still like the ending
