One of the absolute worst things about Marvel not having the movie rights of the X-Men was them trying too hard to get people to forget about them by turning the Inhumans into X-Men like characters.

This game felt like Square Enix took all the parts of Destiny that everyone hates and made it the entire game, removing all the good bits that made Destiny kind of fun.

It’s pretty obvious many people gave this game a pass purely because it’s a Marvel property, and the game’s publishers knew that and took advantage of it. Remove the Marvel skin, and this game is essentially Anthem 2.0

You put considerably more time in to this video than the developers did in to itemisation and level design.

I honestly would have preferred a street level open world game where you play as Daredevil, Luke Cage or Iron Fist and basically take the Open World Spiderman game structure with similar upgrading mechanics. Having a character like Hulk or Thor and not feeling like a fun powerhouse sinks the gameplay alot for me.

This game is just some crappy version of Ultimate Alliance. The stupidest thing is that there are only three recognizable villains in the entire game and they’re all treated badly. Taskmaster was a loser, Abomination shows up out of nowhere and becomes MODOK’s whipping boy for some reason, and MODOK himself was just uninteresting. I get they were trying to make him sympathetic but his motivations just get more and more incomprehensible as the game goes on and the part where he calls himself MODOK for no reason is really stupid. The versions of him in Iron-Man Armored Adventures, Avengers EMH, and Avengers Assemble are way better. Overall, this is one of the most mediocre superhero games to come out in recent years.

Playing as Hulk was the thing I was most looking forward to, after playing Hulk in this game I've come to the conclusion that I GREATLY miss Ultimate Destruction.
