My life has been happier when I understood that different people play different roles in my life. I don't have all-in-one friends...I know who to call for a good time, who is my shoulder to cry on and so on. As a result I know who to invite into my personal space and who not to... No one is perfect and I take and accept what I can get. So I guess I do not have a qualifying criteria per se but I place people where they belong and where they have placed me.
