We have gone over board a long time ago. Now things are just ridiculously.

I was about to have surgery to shorten my index toe. It really causes you to step incorrectly, and stepping incorrectly leads to posture problems. If you buy larger shoes, they will be loose on the instep, and if they are your size, they cause pain because they are too short for that toe, as well as calluses and improper stepping. Additionally, when it sticks out of open shoes, you can even burn it on the ground in the summer or trip over it.
