She made every final except for one, and medaled in every single final she was in. Nastia was a beast

She gets so much hate nowadays from younger fans but they can’t appreciate the elegance and perfection Nastia showcased. She was so unique and still is. We have yet to see another gymnast like her.

i love how she's only 5'3'' but looks so tall...

She is the definitely emotion and expression to the extreme. Even her expression, fingers, arch and toes speak a story.

I always wonder what Nastia could have done had she pursued her mother's sport. She is built for rhythmic gymnastics but her elegance and power turn her gymnastics into works of art. She's truly poetry in motion and I feel lucky I was able to watch her while she was in her prime and competing.
  • She is so beautiful to watch , absolute perfection and elegance . There will never be anyone else quite like Nastia! ♥️

I feel she is one of the most stunning gymnasts of all time. She had super hard skills and gorgeous artistic routines. Just pure brilliance! Her uneven bars routine was one of the greatest I've ever seen!

Probably the most artistic gymnast USA has ever had and will ever have. No wonder she was trained by soviet hands of her father. She was Russian style between the American girls.

She’s one of the top inspirations for this generation of gymnasts

It's great to watch this playback w/o the commentators. It feels like I'm in the arena re-living the moment w/ everyone!

Her AA performance was THE meet of her life.

Her teammates are very supportive. That's what sports should be. Athletes supporting and lifting each other to become the best versions of themselves.

One of the most beautiful gymnasts ever!
  • @mme.dilettante
Always liked that Liukin used a Russian folk song for her floor exercise.

Truly one of the BEST of a nearly extinct style of women’s artistic gymnastics. One of a kind athlete! Class, focus, style, artistry, & grace - There truly will never be another quite like Nastia 🥇🇺🇸

such a lovely gymnast her lines are to die for
  • @ur920
Most elegant gymnast I have ever seen at uneven bars. Nastia always get's to the top point at each element of exercise with so much courage and 100% confidence - wonderful!!!

    Elegance and clean lines. Awesomeness!!
  • @Enzo-ho9uf
I still really do believe she should’ve scored higher on vault in the AA compared to the qualifications!! She stuck it in the AA but got a lower score compared to the higher score in the quals with a shuffle in the landing. I love her sm!!!

I've seen these routines over and over, and its still amazing every time. When she was injured everyone was so down on her and she really rose up at the Olympics. Forever and always my favorite gymnast.
