For the love of God Jon, make this a full series and I'll name my first child after you
  • @steveneccles
“There’s Amata, struggling a bit with the weight” god damn it Jon you know she’s sensitive about that
  • @oce1989
Anyone else remember the overwhelming sense of freedom when you first stepped out of Vault 101? An amazing memory.
  • "They say the G.O.A.T. never lies... According to this you're slated to be the next vault chaplain. God help us all." My absolute favorite result for this. Period. No exceptions.
  • A Vault Dweller with daddy issues, a Tunnel Snake, two dogs one robotic, a glorified Mister Handy and an eyebot, two kindred supermutants, two ghouls bent on serving their boss, a closeted ex-Enclave member, two Brotherhood of Steel members, a slave, a retired raider, a depressed sniper, and an alcoholic enter New Vegas...
  • Only Jon can make a 45 minute tutorial on something we already know way too much about and still make it compelling.

I've gotten the vault chaplain result before. Kinda shocked that it's linked to barter, but it makes sense considering Fallout 3 was very critical of religions. The church in Rivet City isn't even subtle about wanting money for salvation.
  • Jon playing both Fallout 3 and Oblivion at the same time warms my childhood soul lmao 2008 was a good year for games.
  • October 23 in the Fallout universe is the fatefull date when bombs fell, a very fitting date to start this serie that I can already tell will be memorable. It also happens to be my birthday, thank you very much Jon !

Perfect day to start a new Fallout series, 23.10.2022 exactly 55 years before the apocalypse. And its Fallout 1 25th anniversary too!
  • Jon playing both Oblivion and Fallout 3 at the same time has sent me back to my middle school/early high school days. Also I had been hoping Jon would eventually play Tale of Two Wastelands so I am incredibly happy to see this day come to fruition.
  • One of my favourite mods for Tale of Two Wastelands is one called "Benny Humbles You (And Steals Your Stuff)". Basically it resets your character back to level 1 and removes all of your non-unique perks and also puts all your equipment into the safe in Benny's room.

This and Oblivion series running at the same time...honestly love this channel so much. Jon and Claire, you give so many people not only entertainment, but happiness, hope and positivity!
  • Never thought that Jon and Gopher would be doing a TTW series at the same time.
  • @ActuallyEric
The fact that both MaTN and Gopher are doing a playthrough of TTW at the same time has caused an ear to ear smile on my face that might not be going away any time soon.
  • The Tunnel Snakes thing is about establishing how the character has acted during all of their formative years up to that point. The 260 Karma points represent years of actions.
  • @TheKillerMime
Jon... Just by this intro, you are a hero to Fallout fans
  • Honestly, I'm going to flat out tell everyone that this is the best mod in Fallout history. Two Fallout games in one! Absolute perfection incarnate!
  • @Light-Rock97
I love the physics in these. Ragdolling dead bodies around is basically it's own game. Sometimes I'll drag a guy wearing a power armor to a nearby container instead of looting their heavy ass apparel, to avoid walking slowly because of the weight. I'm also honestly impressed at the object permanence in this game. Bodies and stuff mostly just stay right were you left them, be it in container or just out in the open.

As a "retired" gamer, I get all my gaming enjoyment from watching playthroughs on YouTube, and have been a longtime follower of MaTN's channel. As a huge Fallout fan, Fallout 3 is my favorite game in the series for setting and Fallout: New Vegas is my favorite game in the series for content, so A Tale of Two Wastelands is a dream mod. I could not be more excited for this series!!
