I recently had a moment like this in a hospital where I accidentally pressed the wrong button in the elevator and reached the basement. The whole place was empty. There were similar paths and doors as in Stanley's parable. I could hear the humming of the centralised air conditioner and this voice in my head trying to figure out where I had ended up.

"Stanley opened the cheat terminal and activated the no-clip cheat. As he exited the terminal, he phased through the floor and ended up into an entirely different space, stingy and moist yellow walls, going for what seems forever."

This track always gives me chills. It's so genuinely mysterious and stirs up my curiosity for "what's going to happen this time?"
-
All of his coworkers were gone, what could it mean?

All of his coworkers-- wait. This isn't the right office. Is this Stanley's office?

Imagine if this music played in your head every time you had to make a decision

When stanley came to a set of to open doors, stanley entered the door on his left.

Someone was following Stanley, he was sure of it.

Years later and it's probably the best game with choices involved
-
The end is never the end

All of his co-workers were gone. what could it mean? Stanley decided to go to the meeting room; perhaps he simply missed a memo.
-
This game is underrated
-
"Stanley decided to go to the meeting room to check on his co-workers. He never functioned well by himself, and constantly needed support and guidance from others, so the thought of total solitude was terrifying to him."
-
"This is the story, of a man named Stanley"
