I love this movie, i've probably seen it a thousand times. not just because im a sucker for super heros and musicals and Neil Patrick Harris but because this movie is a one of those reverse status quo movies like Megamind where the hero becomes some arrogant douchebag whereas the villan is a pretty nice guy he just wants a happy ending but he cant get one.

This makes me think of a movie where the villain is this blue guy and he's like a genius and the Heros a douche but everyone likes him anyway. Anyway villain likes normal girl but she likes super hero. Villain defeats superhero, hero quits becomes a nobody and evil guy takes over. Suddenly he's not happy anymore and someone rises up against him. They need hero to save the day but he does nothing. Villain saves the day and suddenly everyone loves him. Yay! Happy Endings! Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
