Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. receives United States Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin in Malacañang on Tuesday, July 30.

The two US officials are in the Manila for the fourth 2+2 meeting between the foreign affairs and defense chiefs of the Philippines and the US.

    Austin, we didnt see any benefit from the EDCA bases with the promise of disaster assistance . Well MetroManila and Luzon just got flooded and nowhere did filipinos see any US forces helping out.
