I'm always happy to see the Googans hit saltwater for a change. Extra happy to see LFD out there. Triggerfish are often also known as leatherjackets where I live and you can see why. Get out on the beach with the family and chase some whiting. Fun for everyone.

My baby brother’s destination wedding was in Destin. I fell in love with that area of the US. It is the best beach I’ve been to and I’ve been to Cancun. The Emerald Coast is breathtaking.

Wow this video was great to watch. Just seeing a little bit of your family vacation brings back memories for me. I lost my dad this past April and watching you two on that charter boat, cleaning fish, and then sneaking in a few bites of the fish was great to see. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve done the exact same thing with my dad and family. Quite simply made my day to watch this and reminisce. Thanks LFG! Keep up the great work!

Yes trgger fis is delicious. Wahoo/Ono is really good too. Chalian sea bass was another, spring chinook is wonderful. Some trout are good too. I just like slow cook in butter

I live about 25 miles north of Destin.....lived in Okaloosa county almost all my life (almost 69 now) back in the day Florida Girl was the charter we almost always went out on...lots of fun! I'll take grouper and snapper anytime over trigger fish tho.....just a taste preference is all.

Fished party boat for walleye on Mil Lacs Lake... what a zoo... bunch of city slickers who had never fished in their life... I limited out in 15 minutes and the boat captain asked if I would help the city dudes catch a few fish... he gave me a free trip and I got them catching after some teaching how to jig... he had 2 crew and 22 people on the boat. Out of 22 only 2 of us had fished before(we had been fishing for many many years) and they couldn't get to everyone. The other 20 were a group from a church who came to the lake for the weekend... none had been out of the city to the wild before so seeing loons, geese, ducks, beaver... it was all new! Even got to hear wolves howling as we came back in at midnight. Next day the church group asked if I could show them how to cook walleye so I taught them the basic MN fish fry... salt, pepper, flour and into a frying pan of half crisco/half butter. Gives a very thin coating that browns up nice but doesn't bury the flavor of the walleye. Standard sides of fried taters and baked beans, buttered white bread... simple lake side fish fry fare!

Long time since I've been on a headboat. Good stuff👍
