Reuniting the director, writer and stars of Forrest Gump, Here is an original film about multiple families and a special place they inhabit. The story travels through generations, capturing the most relatable of human experiences. Zemeckis (Forrest Gump, Castaway, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Contact, Back to the Future) directs from a screenplay by Eric Roth (Forrest Gump, Killers of the Flower Moon, Dune, A Star is Born) and him. Told much in the style of the acclaimed graphic novel by Richard McGuire on which it is based, Tom Hanks and Robin Wright star in a tale of love, loss, laughter and life, all of which happen right Here.

I'm going to tell my kids this is Forrest Gump 2
-
I like the idea of timelines captured in a single frame, it’s like a movie stage play
-
I never thought I'd be so happy to see de-aged Tom Hanks and Robin Wright. Showing them through the years like this is going to be a rollercoaster of emotions. This is Cinema at it's best!
-
You gotta hand it to Zemeckis, this man GOES FOR IT.
-
Jon Anderson is still an amazing vocalist and after all these years YES manages to sound fresh, insightful, sometimes and magnificent. Forever they will be discovered by new generations, that makes me content.
-
I highly recommend the graphic novel this is based on. “Here” is by Richard McGuire and set in the same exact perspective, spanning decades, centuries, millions and even billions of years across all time periods (but especially the events inside the room). I spotted so many shots in this trailer taken directly from the book, so I’m excited

Cinematographer: How you wanna setup this shot? Zemeckis: Just set the camera down. Thanks!
-
I’m getting “a ghost story”meets “the tree of life” vibe from this trailer.
-
In an era where risk-taking in cinema is increasingly rare it's good to see Zemeckis willing to just go for it.
-
Forrest Gump came out in 1994, the same year I was born. This is how we’re celebrating our 30th birthday! Mr. Forrest Gump, you’re always my favorite person ❤️
-
Is anyone else in tears just from the trailer??? Man, this is going to be an emotional ride.
-
Zemmy please cook i can't keep defending you
-
Not every Zemeckis film is golden, but you can't deny that he gave us all-time classics (like Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?), and he tries to make something outside the box.
-
It's encouraging to see Zemeckis prepared to take a chance in a time when taking chances in movies is becoming less common.
-
Many young people are unaware, yet Tom Hanks had a same appearance in the 1980s. Fantastic! I'd want to watch this film.
-
Oh guys, you made a movie where Forrest and Jenny are finally together as a happily married couple. You made me cry. Thank you so much. You don’t know what it means to a Forrest Gump fan like me to finally see that. It’s so beautiful 😭
-
I’m not gonna lie it’s so strange being 22 and seeing Tom hanks well look only just a few years older than me in 2024, on the other hand Forrest Gump is literally my favorite movie and this looks like it’s going to be just as magical in its own light.
-
Proof that using Yes in a soundtrack is always a great idea
-
We have to admit, this is such a Zemeckis type movie.
