The fact that Matt Damon was one of the few Hollywood folks to come to Louis’ defense makes this all the more hilarious

he literally took a random 5 minute segment of his life and made it into the funniest thing i’ve heard all week 😂😂

Never going to be able to even think about that movie ever again without thinking of this. Legendary bit

The Good Will Hunting bit is such a simple (and genius) premise on it's face, but there's nobody else on this planet who could actually execute it like this. He's a master

I always love getting an email from Louis about a new special.

5:57 The way how Louis plays the "what if he said no"-scene in the end is so extremely good! What a freaking master of an actor he is!
  • He is such a master. Everything is so perfectly mastered. His faces, his timing, even blowing on the mic was perfect.
  • This is why he is my favorite comedian of all time. Anyone else would be canceled for life, but he owned it, turned it into something we could all relate to, and made it into yet another absolutely hilarious bit. This man is a genius and should never stop doing stand-up. Ever

Louis is still the guy that made me laugh the hardest in my life. Him having done some regrettable shit doesn't make him not funny. I was at one of his specials, good memories. Thank you for coming back.

Second stand-up special in 12 months. Man has always been a machine of material. Good to have him back!
  • The Good Will Hunting narcissistic writing part is one of the funniest things i've seen in a long time.
  • @supastar25
The special is so good...when they're playing Bob Dylan's "Like a rolling stone" in the opening credits and it leads to him walking on stage to a rapturous standing ovation...he almost got emotional for a split second then got on with the show like a professional....welcome back Louis!
  • For Louis CK to retire without continuing his comedy career for us to see would be a tragedy for laughs everywhere. I am so glad he’s back.
  • @energyben
he's still an absolute master of his craft, what a pleasure to watch

I've been following Louie for years, well before I became a parent. I've always found his pieces on parenting hilarious. Then I had a baby. And thanks to Louie I was prepared. Instead of panicking, i laughed to tears at some of the "adventures" that happened to me as a mom. I owe it to Louie. As well as I owe him so many of the best laughs ever. Thanks for coming back.
  • I have listened to this many times. Not only do I like apples, but I love this bit. Louis rocks.
  • Just watched it tonight, fucking great. One of the few comedians who hasn’t had a special that has been dramatically worse than their previous. Still killing it and still getting better

Saw this is Rochester - im Canadian but flew to NYC for a 5 day trip then drove to Rochester and back to Toronto. I was a journey and SO MUCH FUN. I'll do anything for good comedy. I feel like this is his best special since Hilarious! Can't wait to watch this tonight!

The good will hunting bit is so good. It’s so simple yet brilliant
  • I just watched this and I laughed so hard that I got tears in my eyes. Louis CK is still the king of comedy.
