Yes, his battle cry was great. His block was praise-worthy. But I think It's the animation at 1:20 that sold this moment best. His struggle to contain the excitement was beautifully portrayed.

As a former volleyball player and middle blocker (nearly 20 years), this scene makes me beyond emotional. That feeling of getting an amazing stuff block against an amazing hitter. I can’t help but scream along with them in triumph. I scared my mom with how loud I screamed when watching this episode.

The way Tsukishima was introduced being all mighty and egoistic, then his back story and him improving during summer training camp. And finally this moment, his entire development arc has been epic. Author did such a great job and I am glad that animators didn't leave anything either.
