Many of the best investors in the world are extremely well known through interviews and public appearances, but one of the greatest investors of all time, is hardly known at all. His name is Li Lu.

His story of being hunted by the Chinese government, fleeing to the united states, stumbling into a Warren Buffett lecture and becoming an investing genius is incredible

One lesson I've learnt from billionaires is to always put your money to work, and diversifying your investments. I'm planning to invest about $200k of my savings in stocks this year, and I hope I make profits.
  • As an lnvesting enthusiast, I often wonder how top level investors are able to become millionaires off investing. . I’ve been sitting on over $545K equity from a home sale and I’m not sure where to go from here, is it a good time to buy into stocks or do I wait for another opportunity?.

This video indicates you don't need a high IQ to be a good investor, just 2 qualities, self discipline and a lot of patience. Investing is mostly about behavioral psychology. What would be the right investment to generate more income to retire with at least $3m for long term care?

I want to diversify my portfolio worth around $200k, i'll be buying some Tech stocks, what are some new gen stocks i can add to my portfolio to get reasonable increase and protect my future

His friend told Buffett was coming, he actually thought it was a free buffet (food), so he went. But then little did he know that his life would change after listening to Warren.

Greenwald in the zoom call like ”brother, I’ve been teaching this for decades now”.
  • I really appreciate the dedication in each video you post. To be successful one has to have multiple income streams and so on, also investors should understand the crossover between asset classes & liquidity flow, Judith Layton focuses on Multi-asset trading, a single strategy to manage risk, profit, and the code or the actual decision-making across multi-asset classes. Her skills set is top notch
  • As a new investor, it's important to remember that investing and trading require more than just technical analysis skills. Discipline and emotional maturity play a significant role in achieving success. It's wise to keep in mind the adage of "time in the market vs. timing the market," as this mentality can help you weather market volatility. With insights of Donna Mikalonis and my commitment to learning and growth, I've been increasing my earnings in just a few months. Keep up the good work...

He graduated with 1M with the float of student loans? (7:38) This return is of wallstreetbets proportions, how is it not addressed?
  • @mikegofton1
Thanks Hamish, understanding how investors became successful is insightful.

Unbelievable content! Grateful for this ❤
  • If Li Lu was “China’s most wanted man,” then why on earth was he let back in to China?
  • When someone becomes rich, a lot of things change. Lifestyle upgrades, new social circles, and different financial responsibilities are just the beginning.
  • Li Lu is definitely great. With the background and also with a lot of success in young age. He balance quality together with the value. Consider also financial figures with the management and skin in the game. When feels good is able to put a huge concentrated bets!
  • What are the best strategies to protect my portfolio? I've heard that a downturn will devastate the financial market, so I'm concerned about my $200k stock portfolio.
  • @m89hu
Fascinating! Could you do a video on his stock portfolio, like you do on Michael Burry’s? It would be certainly very interesting
  • @023achilles
Never have I learned less about investing than in the last 12 minutes.
  • @gregoriohb
If he made lots os money in a short period of time (1M in three years, implied in the video) he can even be the best investor of all time, but, by definition, he is not practicing value investing
