This is how I know I’m single. I’m alone watching a documentary on copper on a Saturday night . Lmaoo. My heart is empty but my brain is full of facts 🧠

These shows are pure information in an addictive way. That's a lethal combination. The impacts on humanity from losing the History Channel is enormous

If someone from The History Channel actually read the comments to every freaking Modern Marvels or similar era show, maybe they'd realize that THIS is what the people want to see! There's nothing wrong with educational programming. Who knows, our kids might learn a thing or two...
  • @blakespower
thank you history channel for putting out your own videos in 1080P instead of relying on 10 year old 240P videos
  • Lisa Su speaking about semiconductor tech never gets old. So glad to see her at AMD now, and away from IBM.
  • What a great show. I am always amazed at the strange and interesting side-tracks the researchers find. Especially interesting was that Paul Revere developed copper plate production and that his legacy lives on even to today!
  • When i was a kid my Dad had a rule that i was only allowed to watch cartoons on saturdays. The rest of the time if i was watching these programs. At the time i didnt realize that this was a great gift. They taught me so much information that i somehow retained into adulthood.

5th Marine Regiment has a bell on San Mateo area of Camp Pendleton that is made from melted 50 cal brass fired at the enemy in Korea. It’s rung every morning literally the sound of freedom.

This is easily one of the best shows the history channel made

This was absolutely fascinating. I am a mechanical engineer. But I feel so small after watching a documentary like this.
