As a little kid, I used to know an old timer that lived in the deep woods of Maine. The 500 was his preferred chest carry gun while deep woods hunting the Canadian border region. He shot it flawlessly and had 3 fingers on his dominant hand. I'm pretty sure he wasn't human

I’m weighing in at a buck 50 and shot this round my first time on a range and man… the recoil alone almost made me flag myself, I even cut my finger on the trigger guard somehow. It felt like losing a fight shooting this thing. Overall 10/10

One of the best episodes ever. The 500 Magnum. When you absolutely, positively, have to kill it. And everything three houses down. Truthfully… it doesn’t HURT to shoot it. But fun is not a word I’d use to describe it. More like exhilaration. Like surviving a tornado. Or a train wreck.
