FINALLY BUILDING CRIMSON HU TAO! (Genshin Impact)

Lavawalker is actually good for something ! You can basically just throw any lavawalker piece into an artifact strongbox and be guaranteed to always get something thats more useful

The artifact's name should be "Crimson witch of betrayal"🥲

I use Shimenawa Hu Tao simply because I got the pieces as I was farming Ei's artifacts.

I always dislike the Crimson, Thundering and Veridescent domains because it's shares the drops with the bad artifacts that no one uses.

The domain would've been better if they just spawn them all at once

Honestly the crimson domain wasn’t too bad to me, my most built team is a superconduct one so this domain was manageable aside from the lavawalker drops. The thundering fury one tho? pain.

Unless you wanna spend weeks worth of resin on the crimson domain, I’d say go for shimenawa just because of the efficiency of the domain. But if you’re a Hu Tao simp and just wanna play her in the most fun/easy way, crimson is better.

If you often use Albedo with Hu Tao, then elemental mastery shouldn't be too big of a problem since his burst gives everyone 125 elemental mastery

I’ve been exclusively doing this domain for a month straight and only got one piece that is a slightly upgrade to what I had… the rates are horrendous.

Random assortment of tips: 1. I believe Hu Tao's HP should be around 30k, not 35k. If you have Homa you usually want to equip an EM sands. 2. Lavawalker is good for reverse melt builds and pure pyro builds. Kaeya, Rosaria, Chongyun, Aloy, Yanfei and Klee can all use this set. 3. If you hate farming this domain, 2pc Crimson and 2pc Tencaity/Wanderer's are also really good and perform only slightly worse than 4pc Crimson and 4pc Shimenawa.

I run shimenawa hu tao for 3 reasons, I already farmed that domain for Ei's artifacts, my luck is somewhat better at that domain than any other ones, and I tried farming crimson domain but quit on day one because I used all of my resin without getting a single 5 star crimson piece. NOT A SINGLE PIECE, ALL OF IT WAS LAVAWALKER.

I'm pretty sure the charge attack damage being about the same for the two sets is due to the 30% more Crit Damage that you managed to get on CW.

remember Albedo increases your team’s EM by like 125 or something when he uses his burst (second ascension passive) so maybe that may help with your EM issues

The reason is shimanawa set increases attk based on your base attk while crimson which of flame boosts overall pyro damage

Shimenawa has higher potential dmg for the charged atks and it is much more resin efficient since emblem is a way better and more versatile set than lavawalker, it's still a really good set, dw about it, it is arguably a lot better for an account which doesn't do resin refreshes since the dmg gained through good emblem pieces on other characters is more than worth it and you really don't loose out on much. In addition you can argue that average shimenawa pieces will just have better stats since you can actually get value from the domain for other characters aswell and thus are farming it anyway where with crimson witch you are ONLY farming for your hu tao and you can't really keep that up long enough as a f2p or low spender to get an insane set

elemental mastery actually does more damage than hp% when u hit reactions by quite a margin supposing u dont have an em weapon like dragon's pain but you need to be above 30k hp if u want to see really good results which is why the damage was only comparable in your case

Me who started farming for crimson when I got her then was influenced by him to change to shiminawa and now again influenced me to go crimson hu tao
