You asked, Brian Cox answered

Published 2016-10-06
In celebration of Professor Brian Cox - A Journey into Deep Space tour, Australia’s Science Channel and Lateral Events gave 6 students around Australia the chance to have their question answered in person. We used those same questions for this video with our guest interviewer, astronomer Dr Alan Duffy!

This man should start a weekly podcast to answer any kind of questions he receives. His way of speaking is wonderful and captivating.

I love the way Brain Cox can't stop smiling when he talks about science. It really shows he has massive amounts of passion on the subject. I didn't understand some of this video (granted his way of explaining is fantastic and I understood lots more than I thought I would) but I could just watch him talk about science all day, watching someone with that much passion just commands attention, even if you don't get it.

Finally an interviewer on the same wavelength of Cox. Makes for such a different quality of interview.
  • It takes a special kind of personality to convey these complex and fascinating ideas in such a fun and graspable way.

Brian Cox reflects the value of being educated and a gifted teacher. He connects thoughts with sensibility and mystery in a way that draws student curiosity into the knows and unknowns. These teachers are rare and need to be the inspiration of the profession.

particle or wave is just a state of superposition, you can never measure a single thing without it being in relation to something. Everything is in motion and a measurement is simply a snap shot in time.
