Over the past few months I've been replacing my luxury skincare with drugstore and while these aren't skincare dupes exactly...they're very close replacements at a more affordable price! For reference, I have dry skin and I'm 45 years old with some fine lines.

💖 ABOUT ME:

Hi, my name is Jen I am 44 and live in Connecticut with my husband and 8 year old son. I am a stay-at-home Mom and full-time YouTuber with a degree in business with a focus in marketing. Before leaving work when my son was born, I was a commercial lender at a bank. I also worked at Sephora and Macy's doing visual merchandising.
I have dry skin with some hyperpigmentation and fine lines. I love natural makeup looks but occasionally go outside my comfort zone a little bit. On my channel you'll find lots of videos about drugstore makeup and drugstore dupes (those are my favorites to film!) but I also review high-end makeup as well. I hope you enjoy my channel and if you do, please don't forget to SUBSCRIBE & leave me a comm

  • I'm HERE for this content Jen! Skincare is so expensive thank you for coming through for us with good (and cheaper!) alternatives.
  • @CandidLy1
Jen you are an absolute treasure my dear ❤ Thank you for being a voice of reason for the budget conscious who want to look their best without breaking the bank. Bless you 🎉
  • Living in New Zealand, I find alot of the brands, you are talking about are not available in my Country, but the way you describe the ingredients allows me to shop and look for the key ingredients. Thank you for taking your time and explaining each product, which allows me to be a more informed consumer. 😊

Over the last 40 years, I've had several dermatologist tell me that the Olay and CereVe products were the best drug store products. I'm 65 and get a lot of compliments on my skin and Olay has been my go to for all these years. I remember when it was called Oil of Olay!😁
  • @gracer656
Eucrein moisturize is a favorite of mine! So glad you found it. I usually use it at night but after hearing you say how well it works with foundation, I’m going to switch to morning. Thanks for sharing what you find that works at affordable prices. You are a sweetheart!
  • @courtneylutitia
Love skincare, Jen!! The product comparisons + ingredients. 10/10! I appreciate your dedication and actually using the products to give us honest feedback from your experience. ❤
  • @pajamamama5965
What an excellent video! It's so sweet of you to share more affordable options. Your skin is gorgeous. I'm so happy for you
  • @meitalkabeli509
I have been using La Roche Posay face wash, toner, and moisturizer, for over 5 years and it has never disappointed me. I am finishing my FAB cleansing oil and then going to try the La Roche Posay one. Thanks for sharing your drugstore skincare, it really is amazing how good drugstore products have become over the years.
  • @LenaSheppard
Thanks for sharing your new drugstore favs. I don't use any hi-end skincare by choice. I think it's just a waste when lower priced products work very well. I'm so thankful that you're here for us !
  • @7duality7
Your skin looks absolutely glowing, your regime is obviously working well for you 🌟
  • Great job Jen,really good to see these videos and even an informed beauty expert is looking for alternatives in the wickedly priced skincare, thanks for that!
  • @alisummers7984
This was one of the best videos you have made, imo- I’m recently divorced .. and I use a lot of the high end products u mentioned- and now I’m on a tighter budget, so I really appreciate the cheaper alternatives you suggested!! Ty!
  • @SusanM.
I used to work for “Luxury” brands...Channel, Dior, Ect... I had every luxury brand at my disposal to try/use...Sisley Paris, La Mer, La Prairie, ect...I have to say, 90% of them are NOT worth it.
  • @ginadavidson9536
Thanks Jen I really appreciate you giving us much more affordable options not everyone can afford high end products.
  • @RetroBeauty
I'm loving this dupe video! Thank you so much for the time you put into these. I have learned so much from you and never knew til your last skincare video to do the multiple layers of patting the toners. Brilliant!! I use that every day!
  • @tinamarie8445
Hi Jen, I truly loved this video as I’m nearing 60, with very sensitive skin, and very dry. I can’t afford the high-end versions so I truly love these alternatives. You are so good at breaking everything down and researching everything 😊 I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see you do a full morning and evening routine with these drug store options.
  • @LinzSee
I’ve been really into skincare since I hit my 30s and since I haven’t been able to afford high end skincare I was forced to research and figure out good products on a budget. Dr Dray, Angie Hot and Flashy and a few others have taught me so much about skincare methods and ingredients. My skin is better at 38 than it was at 30.
  • I love seeing how low the levels are in your moisturizers, I can see how much you use the products. Sometimes YouTubers say "I've been using x product forever" but it looks full. I mean come on, we have eyes!
  • @marjorielee5991
FANTASTIC VIDEO Jen. I did not think I would enjoy a skincare video that much but this was incredibly informative as well as enjoyable. There is just something so special about hearing this kind of info from a friend and someone who is so good at teaching, sharing and trusted. I hope my posts aren't so late that you miss seeing them.
  • @heidibursch1436
I appreciate your honesty and hard work that you put into this project. What an awesome resource you have created for us. Thank you!!
