  • I am 1 week out of right hand open carpel tunnel release. I am in a full splint for 2 weeks and was told to move my fingers regularly, but that is it.

It’s been 9 days since my carpel tunnel release surgery and I have to stay bandaged until I go back on day 14. My hand feels pretty good. I just can’t open a jar or mix cookie batter, etc., but I can’t wait to have these bandages off and not have to deal with keeping them dry! I miss the simple things like washing my face with two hands.
  • I want to tell that I found this video very good support to concerns about carpal tunnel. It is my second surgery after 10 weeks from first surgery. Thank you

Great video I am not even 24 hours postop😂! And I’m sure I’m going to fall into that overly cautious category but definitely will try to stretch ! Glad I cooked the morning of my operation 👏🏼 so I have left overs 😮‍💨

June 5 I go in for carpal tunnel release, de quervains release, and a cyst removal. Any tips or advice? That's left hand. When I heal, I go in for right carpal tunnel and de quervains

Hi there I would like to ask you for a bit of your expert advice, I have seen many youtube videos on carpal tunnel and yours is the only one that mentions the hands locking close as a symptom, Is that a symptom of carpal tunnel? They all talk about numbness week fingers but not if the hands/fingers can just lock closed so that I have to use my other hand to open the fingers on witch ever hand is locking at the time, I do believe that that I do have carpal tunnel through doctors that I have previously been to and from other guys that I have worked with in the same line of work and who have had the surgery, however my problem with having the surgery is that out of the four guys that had the surgery done is all of them it got worse after they had it done, And I think my problem is not only with the nerves in my hands but also in my neck because every now and again I get a spasm in my neck on the left hand side right by my collar bone that makes me twitch quite badly, so I don't to sure if getting the hand surgery is just going to make it a hole lot worse, please if you could help me with some advice I would be grateful and thank you for your videos and for the time you putting into making them because it seems to me you the only doctor on youtube that studied on carpal tunnel and has the correct answers.

Hi, its been almost 5 weeks since the surgery and i still have noticable swelling in the wrist. Wound is healing well and getting massaged regularly but is the swelling normal?
