The part where she is putting red lipstick on to look older while her mom is putting a lighter color on to look younger was cool

They were like a perfect couple and suddenly.. holy shit!

There’s something about this song , no matter how many hits Halsey has released I will always come back for this one. It’s just so nice

The lyrics that stand out to me the most are “and now he’s so devoid of color he don’t know what it means” and it hits me so hard bc it’s how I feel. I’ve been in a rut for so long that my passion for damn near everything is gone. Like all the color has faded. And I don’t remember what it was like to have passion and vibrancy in anything and I don’t know what it means either. I know I’ll get out of this rut someday but I just thought I’d share how crazy that one line in a song can so accurately describe who you are and how you feel. Bless you all.

I'm a recovering fentanyl addict. "Blues" is a street name for the drug and blues used to consume my WHOLE life. My hair, my dreams, ambitions etc did all become gray- I didn't give a F about anything. I have no idea why this song was written and probably not about what I shared but it doesn't even matter. Music is like a living word, it means something different to everyone. This song gently took me to a place that reminded me where I don't ever want to go again. It was the perfect reminder at the perfect time. Amazing song, amazing performance by an amazing Artist!

Halsey, when this came out I was homeless, in and out of jail, and unhealthy. Now I have a house, a good job, and a husband. This song and “Clover Cage - The Lone Dancer” are the two songs that helped with my depression. I just want everyone to know things will get better. We are in this together. I love you ❤
