Based on Terry Pratchett's Novel. On Discworld (a world carried by four elephants standing on a huge turtle in space), the young bard Imp y Celyn comes to Ankh-Morpork to become a famous musician, but a new guitar from a mysterious shop possesses him with a new kind of music - the Music with Rocks In. To make matters worse, Death, saddened by the death of his adopted daughter, has gone away to try and forget, and his granddaughter Susan suddenly has the family duty passed on to her.

  • "It's a harp." "Lyre." "No, really! It's a harp!" Never read any of his books, but that is comedy gold.
  • everyone hating on the animation, I think it's wonderful. I honestly miss when cartoons were actually drawn, just feels so much warmer and personal.

They say Shakespeare made great comedies in his day, well I think Terry Pratchett is the modern equivalent! I am in my late 60s and have read Terry's work from day one and I say he is a master of his art and the creature of the funniest smart comedy work since the Hitch hickers guide series. God bless Terry Pratchett, RIP, gone but never forgotten.

Christopher Lee angrily shouting “Oh bugger!” is something I never knew I wanted until I heard it. RIP.

"We're on a mission from Glod" is definitely one of the top ten T. Pratchett quotes that pop into my head at very inappropriate moments (eg: church) and makes me giggle.

R.I.P Christopher Lee one of the best villainous actors around and a perfect voice for death

To hear Christopher Lee to say "Oh, bugger" was great.

My favorite quote from death in all of Terry Pratchett books was I'm death not taxes I only show up once. Lol I couldn't stop laughing

If only we could crowd-fund more of these. It'd be such a great gift to all to come if all of Discworld could be brought to life!
  • @mazzy713
"we're more popular than cheeses" absolutely brilliant
  • lol Death rocking out as a final blow... that... it's just... so beautiful.
  • @robertnett9793
Ah yes. Pratchett simply was a master of closing story threads in the end. I really really loved the endings of each book, when all this little arcs going on over the whole story came to a beautiful conclusion...

Rest is peace, dear Sir Pratchett. You were truly one of a kind

This is the first time I came across these animated series. I have been a reader of Terry Pratchett's books, loved reading them and people stare at me for laughing and giggling my head off whilst reading on my breaks at work. The legacy of Mr. Pratchett's to the world...Rip..
  • Wish he was still here.. so grateful for what he gave us …… RIP TP

Never tell death you can’t die. He will take it as a challenge
