Updates on this (writing to publication was too slow to keep up): - Benny Gantz has now resigned from Israel's War Cabinet. -The UN Security Council has endorsed the peace proposal Biden outlined, with 14 yes votes and an abstention by Russia. Thank you.

Don't take this too seriously. This is for the election cycle, not because anybody thinks it will work.
  • @Hendulki
Funny how this nations recognize palestine but not taiwan.
  • I was born in '66. I have been watching this misery since '72... Carter thought the same thing...

Who else came for the comments before even watching the video?

Don't even need to watch the vid to know the answer is no.

I don't see how we can rebuild Gaza with Hamas in power without Hamas using a significant amount of that aid to rebuild its war capacity. I don't see how Israel can remove Hamas in the short term. Truly a terrible situation.
  • This is a deal made by a politician that wants to look like a leader but all he is doing is providing the perception of a solution without addressing any of the key issues in the conflict. He wants a solution that everyone can be happy with but that is never true of real solutions. The problem is, Israel wants Hamas ended as a military entity and Hamas wants the opposite and the deal addresses neither. Even though it says that its goal is an end to hostilities, It is just an attempt to go back to the status quo which means endless hostilities.
  • Holy crap, Simon brought me the news over an hour before Ground News had it. Colour me deeply impressed by the research and scriptwriting teams!!

As long as wars profitable and the consequences stay "over there" the answer will remain no
  • @juriteller3688
You are funny. NOTHING in this world is capable of ending this conflict for good.

  • Kinda funny many of these countries recognize Palestine but not Taiwan which actually has a functioning government that cares about its citizens
