Microneedling is a super popular skin treatment because it can stimulate collagen, improve acne scarring, improve the signs of aging (like fine lines and wrinkles), and help with uneven skin tone and texture. In this video, I talk about what it is, where you should get microneedling done, and all the benefits of microneedling. Have you tried it? Tell me about your experience in the comments!

I am a medical esthetician and I can't say how much your videos help me out with my consulting! sometimes I struggle on explaining the benefits to my clients but hearing your simple but thorough explanations helps me out a ton! and it also reassures me that I am recommending tue correct treatments for the right people. thanks Dr Ellis ❤
  • Hey!🥰 I graduated form faculty of medicine in Egypt and now studying aesthetic dermatology and really liked that video and gonna check the rest of your videos as that’s helpful for me. Thank you ♥️♥️
  • Thank you dr Ellis for a very informative video. I’m planning on having microneediling this month. I have Melasma and hyperpigmentation in my face and neck. I’m 66 years old with olive skin I always had really good skin, I had shingles in my eye and face last year and that scared badly too. I’m a bit apprehensive of having any treatment. I will be grateful for your comments
  • VERY reasoned discussion, leaves room for our own decision making. Nice job.

Thanks for another informative and interesting video, I have been considering micro needling for my acne scarring. I would love to see a video about chemical peels from you!
  • I have professional microneedling twice a year and at home with a .05 roller every two months. I love the vampire facial. The difference in my skin is amazing. Do you think that using grow factors for the microneedling makes a big difference in the skin? Would you make a video about grow factor serums? Thank you for your informative videos. Love them!

I just had microneedling on my face and hands about 3 weeks ago. At the moment, I was feeling like it didn't do anything. I didn't know that I should be doing a few appointments in a row. Thank you.

I’m glad that you talked about dark skin and keloid. I would like to reduce the fat and eye bags but I do get keloid.

Hi :) Could you also make a video regarding desinfection/sterilisation of tools like: dermaroller, dermapen, makeup brushes, nail tools, toothbrushes etc. And what the diffrences are between UVlight, Ultrasonice sound, steam, alcohol sterilization etc.? Hope you are gonna read my comment and to see a video about it :D Thank you for all the great video's you make, I am a big fan!
  • I had 3 1/month micro needling treatments on my face, neck and chest and now I get a treatment once every 6 months. I have noticed an improvement in the texture of my skin, but feel like this is more of a long term aid for my aging skin. I have also started incorporating many of the products you have recommended for skin care (vitamin C, retinol, glycolic acid, peptides…). I started this at age 51. Wish I would have started at age 30. Thanks for your videos. Very informative. 😀
