Loved this, Northern Thailand is our favourite place and we actually climbed this mountain in May this year โฆ. And Iโm 65 having battled cancer twice only losing half a lung in November 21. We were told not to do it but I definitely didnโt want to miss it and I can honestly say it wasnโt too hard. If it takes a fit person 2-3 hours start to finish it only took us 4 hours with plenty of seats provided to stop, rest and enjoy along the way. Iโm loving watching you both on your travels.

We climbed up there a couple of years ago on the way back to Chiang Rai from Chiang Mai. We were lucky that the weather was great and the views magnificent. You need to pace yourself but nothing technical about the climb. I would never do it in slippers but then again I am probably twice your age, at 68. So much more to see up here in the North. Have a great time.

What an amazing location for the first adventure back home. Certainly wise to wear proper running shoes there especially on a wet day. Pity about the clouds/fog as the view with clear skies would have been even more of an eye opener than what you saw. Those drone shots you borrowed were amazing. I checked out Paddy's vid and the drone footage was indeed out of this world . Great video champs. Thanks for sharing :)

Good way to start with a pad krapaw moo khai daw mate, love that food ๐ enjoy you two and thanks for sharing this lovely place up in the north, a lot off the north is still on the bucketlist, didn't see a lot last time in the very few days i drove to Chaing Mai and Chiang Ria in 5 days form Isan, but sure enjoyed every part.
