To my opinion Yuki maybe doesn’t know is not only how fast he can go in the car but also the attitude he communicates towards the team is also a factor for RB to consider the replacement

McLaren management is weak. They could’ve given more points to Lando for the championship chase and still came in 1st and 2nd. They have blown a lot of races for Lando with bad guidance and indecision when racing.

Stella is going to face his own criticisms if this costs Mclaren the WDC for one of their drivers let alone the constructors. Its not everyday you get a car that leap frogs to the top or your competitors are falling off due to lack of improvements or demotivated.

Lando would have been 7 points closer to Max and the team would still have gotten max points if Oscar finished 2nd, Oscar being 7 points closer to Max is not doing anything.
