"What's the best sounding muffler for my car?" We get this question a lot and there is no right or wrong answer. Ideal sound is based on individual preference and will vary from person to person. This is why Flowmaster offers over a dozen different series of mufflers, as well as several Cat-back and Axle-back kits, for nearly every popular make and model of vehicle. #Flowmaster provides everything that you need to tune the sound and performance of your vehicle's exhaust system to your specific wants, needs and budget. In this video, 8 of Flowmaster's most popular mufflers are tested, from mild to aggressive, in order to help you figure out which muffler is right for you. Keep in mind, the sounds heard in this video reflect how the vehicle sounds from the exterior and are not representative of the interior noise that may or may not be generated inside of the cab under normal driving conditions.

Here's a muffler test for you guys, we are going to use the most uncommon car. Makes a whole lot of sense

Anyone else still confused on which muffler they like? 🤔
  • I think I like the pro series the most. It provides the bite and throat, but without causing half the neighborhood to hate your guts. I find it suits my taste the most, as it provides a clean sound, without an overbearing sense of power.

In my family, We have a 1965 ford mustang with a 408 stroker, which has Flowmaster 44's, and I have never heard a car sound as good as it.

The sound of the 10, is the sound you want for that car.

I'm running the supper ten on my 1973 camaro with long tube headers and puts out 600hp and it sounds great with the super 10

They all sound good. They all have that deep tone that sounds like an off shore racing boat exhaust which I love!

I was thinking about stepping up my challenger R/T to a 3" exhaust, but that Super 44 sounded really good. It's under consideration for sure.

Had a SUPER 44 installed on my 2018 TAHOE 5.3......Sounds F*****G SWEET!!!!! The 8-4 cut in used to just activate on the freeway in 6th gear....after the STOCK crap removed and the new pipes installed, the 8-4 activates in town now as well. The engine likes the change!
  • Big 3" single. Flowmaster 2 into 1 merge, Flowmaster Pro straight thru muffler, with a Flowmaster Super 10 as a resonator. 88-95 GM TBI cars and trucks respond real well to delete Y pipe and period cat. Replace cat with modern hiflow or not. This mods good for + 10 to 20 whp at any rpm and +1 to 1.5mpg at the pump. Sounds great!

I have the super 44 on my 2012 Dodge Ram and I love it. Huge difference from stock.

Pro series all the way. Healthy bass is just a bonus. Performance is #1.

I have a small 3.8 naturally aspirated Mustang modified and dyno tuned. Ceramic longtube headers, stainless steel ProChamber mid-pipe, a set of Flowmaster 10 Series mufflers, followed by tailpipes & 3.5" Borla oval tips. Great sound.

I'm running Flowmaster Outlaw which use the Super 10s and it's glorious on my 18 Silverado Z71!
