You know you're legend when Sting is your back vocals

I remember when my dad finished restoring his 1965 Corvette he took me out on the first drive, and when he pulled onto the highway he put this song on; it’s a memory I’ll never forget the sound of the V8 and the sound of Dire Straits one of my all-time favourite moments with my dad

That guitar riff moves your body even if your frozen solid. It’s so bloody class.

I believe that somewhere in the world, there are people who feel the same emotions that I feel when I listen to masterpieces like this song.

Mark Knopfler really is one of the greatest guitarists who has ever lived.

Crazy to think that this legendary song only came out a couple weeks before this performance. I was listening to the build-up, wondering why the crowd wasnt going bananas, but this was probably the first time most of the people in the crowd actually heard it.
  • Mark Knopfler is one of those people who can truly make his instrument speak. I will never get tired of this song.

I am absolutely enchanted by the ad libbing Sting does at the beginning. It truly shows how angelic that man’s voice is
