Can you beat South America - Rio Carnival (Sugarloaf Shores) with just a no entry sign? If you have enough patience it might just be...

  • All of the guests clapping as the scenario is beaten makes me think they'll finally get to go home to their families and take a well needed bathroom break... But Lord Marcel is never so kind as that.
  • This feels like something from Dante's version of hell. You're a guest and for centuries, maybe over a millennium, you find yourself endlessly wandering the path with your fellow prisoners, surrounded by broken rides and snack stalls that you are long since sick of. The Entertainers still wander the park, trying fruitlessly to amuse you even after centuries of the same costumes and the same dances. The Handymen ignore you pleas for help and continue to maintain the plants and clean the paths, as if you're not even there. The Security Guards wander almost silently, ignoring questions, only barking rebukes at 'vandals', the same rebukes repeated over and over. You haven't seen the Mechanics in centuries, some say they got out somehow, but you know there is no way out, the sign is undeniable. Sometimes the urge will strike you try and do something else, to try and climb over the sign, to duck under it, to grab a Jetski and make for the opposite bank, to try and climb the fence out, but you never will, instead you will do what you have done for so very long... you keep walking. Only after countless circuits are you finally presented the only escape you will ever be offered; as the sound of cheering comes from the sky, the ground simply vanishes beneath you, the water almost seeming to rise up to meet you all. After so very long, it is over and you can only pray that whatever comes next is kinder than whatever god did this to you.
  • "Do you hear that? That's the sound of forgiveness."" "That's the sound of people drowning, Marcel." "That's what forgiveness sounds like: screaming and then silence."
  • @hoo2042
“Enjoy your watersports, Darrel” made me lose it 😂
  • @MadCarTK
Moment of silence please for Mechanic 2... "He fixed our rides, but who is left to fix our hearts?"
  • @Naftoreiclag
The storytelling in this one is superb. I was at the edge of my seat to hear the tale of Mechanic 1.
  • @RaidenX196
"You start with a loan of 3,000 euros which you can easily pay back by selling a few scenery items" - cut to Marcel demolishing half an apartment complex and a whole hotel for a few bucks.
  • @WingedFish66
"The rides that are still running will eventually break down one, last, time. Never to be fixed again..." A rather solemn line, makes me think of all the abandoned amusement parks out there

The guests all cheering and clapping while intensly staring at the viewer after all theyve been through is like a scene from a weird horror movie
  • @brilletjuh2
I would have loved to see you just remove the no-entry sign at the end and watch them all leave at the same time. Don't get me wrong, drowning them is fun, but this would also be funny to watch imo.
  • As soon as he said "The official value of a human life is $7" (1:20) I knew we were in for a treat
  • “Slowly the murmur of 14,000 guests dies down and in the end there is nothing except silence” But thank god the dancing ladies survived, I would’ve cursed this cruel world for taking away three precious lives

This is my favorite Marcel video of all time. Your fans and followers thank you for the 458.5 hours you put into this. RIP Mechanic 1
  • Wow. You rightfully show the dedication of the handymen and dedicate the video to the memory of the engineers, but not even a mention of the hardworking entertainer in the tiger costume that has been sweating his butt off for more than a thousand years smh
  • @funx24X7
The real challenge in this run is preventing Windows from automatically installing updates and restarting the PC
  • @tylerray1368
So, that explains where all my mechanics went. I thought they unionized and left.
  • @Fettman07
I actually laughed out loud when you were debating if you could finish it before the second mechanic died. Too funny man your delivery is perfect.
  • Those narration about the mechanics in particular really had me laughing out loud. "it's only a matter of time until we lose mechanic 1" "I regret to inform you that we have lost mechanic 1". Especially because I work as a customer service and uses the template "I regret to inform you" a lot at work What a blessing to have this video up and ready to watch right after a hard day's work.

Note to self: always elevate the station when over water and put a path under the exit.

8:00 Even in a dystopian nightmare, there's a new guy who's having fun. There's an important life lesson here.
