why this is the ship every player needs in starfield. In this video I'll be showing you how to build the best ship in starfield. It has great cargo, a very good clean layout, amazing weapons and can do everything you need, on top of that it is such a clean ship design. This video will give you a great starfield ship build design and idea. Full credit to my subscriber Karini for this build, he build arguably the best ship in the game.

They really should add a system to allow people to share their ships. Maybe import them into a custom "creator" vender that others could then buy if they want.

Awesome build for sure, but I'll stick with my no ladder build. I hate ladders

Thanks for doing these detailed builds. I can't wait to build this beast!

So love it only thing I changed was the reactor to the sf40 as it gives 2 more power, hull, health and repair rate for only 1 extra mass

I love this design! I made some sensible modifications to the interior, used upgrade landing gear, used Taiyo nose cones instead of the Nova Galactic cowlings on the wings, and some other changes. The biggest change I just made, and wanted to report- at least on Very Hard, I don't think the turret guns do much good in the aft lower part of the ship. It may make the top look nice and clean, but I don't know if it's functional. Putting the turrets up top worked much better in combat. Overall though, 10/10 on the basic design, thanks for bringing it to our attention!!!

I recommend getting on the good side of the Crimson Fleet and keep access to the Key, because there are two pieces that AFAIK you can only get there, you unlock them in the faction quest line and can buy them later: First, the Conduction Grid ( -50% EM damage, +25% shield regen, +1 crew capacity) and the ComSpike ( -25% target lock on time, -20% weapons cost in targeting mode). Also, what do you need all the shielded cargo for if you can't run pirate missions? :-) Also, those engines - you get them via the Walter shroud questline by getting Walter and the other guy to work together. Otherwise they don't show up anywhere.

The Cabot cockpit is pretty much a staple of my large ship builds as it allows me to completely avoid ladders. The passageways are also great as they allow me to arrange my habs sensibly so there’s no maze and I don’t lose important furnishings, beds, latrines, etc., from unexpected doorways.

I loved this build when I saw it in the last video. There might be a nicer interior design layout, but you can't argue with how clean the exterior is. I have struggled trying to come up with something using the Cabot cockpit that doesn't look like a turtle. This build is just so clean, and the minimal use of the green is really tasty as well.
  • Nice! I've saved the video and will definitely build this beauty... Guess I'll only just change something in the internal layout, but apart from that, it's really clean and good looking!

that cockpit got me into shipbuilding lol. the room, the view is just awesome. thanks for the build video!

Just built this ship... AMAZING. I modified placement on the Captain's bay and Workroom so I have immediate access to a bed and crafting tables upon entering the ship. THANKS for the play by play.

Two key things about ship building. One, you need to be level 60. You also need to have completed a certain portion of the main quest line to unlock the Sal 6830 engine. And that quest has to end with Stroud forming a business partnership with the engine manufacturer. Wrong outcome? No engine. The next variant down you do have access to isn't bad, but it isn't the "best" either. Two, your outpost is the best place to build your ship. But like the OP stats, you will need to bring the unique pieces in with you. Each vendor has unique pieces. I don't even think it is possible to build a good ship from the parts available from a single vendor. And yes, the Frankenstein approach is the way to do it. Now with that said, one think to keep in mind. Your Frankenstein ship won't hold its own in combat. So you want to avoid combat if at all possible. Any trips you do for parts needs to be a quick in and out and back to the outpost. And why the outpost? Because it has the main pieces from all 5 vendors. It is only the unique parts you don't have access to at the outpost unless you bring them with you.

Thanks for this build! Great Ship. I had around 500k, I'm on NG+ so I'm broke compared to my first run/save. I ran into a Claymore III and took it over. Used the expensive items out of it "the most I could" & I ended up with about 20k left over lol. But she is a beauty! Also took me like 2hrs between watching you and finding all the parts. I don't have them all in one place. But well worth it. Still have a few small things to get, but all in all she is DONE! Thanks again! 👍👍

A list of shipyards where the parts can be acquired would be handy, having trouble sourcing some of the parts

Beautiful ship exterior. I'd constantly get lost inside it with out a map.
